| Summary, etc. | RésuméCet article étudie la question du partage du savoir et la nécessaire décolonisation de l’anthropologie à partir d’une expérience menée avec les Mayas du Yucatan (Mexique) en mars 2005. L’auteur compare son écoute de la culture maya à une écoute psychanalytique qui doit aider les Mayas à retrouver leur identité.Dans le cadre d’une tournée de présentation de livres de classe bilingue maya-espagnol, rédigés par l’auteur, dans les collèges et les lycées de la péninsule mexicaine du Yucatan, il montre comment le paradigme « un bon indien est un indien mort » continue de jouer un rôle central dans la vision sociologique imposée aux Mayas de culture yucatèque. La décolonisation est loin d’être achevée. |

| Summary, etc. | This article looks at how knowledge is apportioned concerning the necessary decolonisation of anthropology in the light of an experiment carried out with the Mayas of the Yucatan (Mexico) in March 2005. The author compares his listening to expressions of Maya culture with the way the analysts listens to the patient in psychoanalysis and this in order to help the Mayas recover their identity.During a tour presenting books written by the author to Spanish-Maya speaking bilingual classes in secondary schools in the Mexican Yucatan peninsula, he shows how the paradigm that ‘a good Indian is a dead Indian’ still plays an essential role in the sociological image imposed on Mayas of Yucatan culture today. The decolonisation process is far from having been completed. |
