Facteur d’unité, l’allemand devient, dans la seconde moitié du siècle, une ressource cruciale pour le projet national. Dans ce contexte, la langue peut aussi faire l’objet d’une instrumentalisation au service d’une entreprise nationaliste. La première moitié du xxe siècle représente la période où la langue allemande est de plus en plus subordonnée à un projet de domination qui se substitue aux éléments identitaires. |
