520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
Summary, etc. |
520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
Summary, etc. | Having reminded S. Freud’s fundamental considerations regarding the concept of traumatism, the author proposes to differentiate the words traumatism, traumatic, trauma, attributing them different valences with regard to psychic organisation and psychoanalytic treatment. With reference to S. Ferenczi’s contribution in the last part of his work (1928-1933), he would consider the question of trauma in “ today’s clinical approach ” by distinguishing secondary traumas, organised under the prevalence of the pleasure/unpleasure principle, from early traumatisms that hinder the process of drive fusion. A clinical example will illustrate this last topic. |
