| Summary, etc. | Résumé Cet article dresse un panorama de l'influx de traductions de l'américain vers le français en théorie littéraire, en philosophie et en sciences sociales depuis une dizaine d'années, le nombre annuel de ces traductions ayant plus que doublé sur la période. Outre un classement des ouvrages concernés selon les enjeux et les disciplines et une analyse du rôle des différents médiateurs et organismes impliqués au fil de ce processus, sont abordés également les enjeux épistémologiques et politiques d'un tel apport théorique américain dans le champ intellectuel français contemporain. |

| Summary, etc. | This article offers an overview of the new wave of translations from American into French of essays in the fields of literary theory, philosophy and social sciences over the last ten years.?Indeed, the annual number of such translated titles has doubled over the past decade. The first objective is to sort out and categorize the selected books as well as describe the roles played by various mediators and institutions along the process of their publication. In addition, it seeks to emphasize the epistemological and political stakes of such an influx of “American theory” for France’s contemporary intellectual field. |
