520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
Summary, etc. |

Summary, etc. | Questions of psychoanalytic transitionsInspired by the main texts of the 74th Congress of French-speaking psychoanalysts, the author aims to bring out, from a North American perspective, some fundamental underlying questions concerning psychoanalytic identity and the specific nature of our method(s). Considering some well-known formulations by Pontalis and Laplanche, his argument centres on the idea that our patients are also the architects of our transitions as analysts. It is suggested that analysis as an object and the object of analysis are in fact transitional objects that are in danger of becoming fetishised objects. |

Summary, etc. |

Summary, etc. |

Summary, etc. |
