Tout d’abord, dresser une généalogie de l’histoire environnementale en revenant sur les origines et les phases de développement de ce champ de recherche. Ensuite, analyser le contexte de réception et de production académique particulier que la France constitue en matière d’histoire environnementale, en réévaluant notamment le rôle qu’y jouent l’école des Annales et son héritage. Enfin, dresser un panorama analytique de ce sous-champ de recherche qui a pris de longue date son essor dans le contexte étatsunien, et plus récemment, en France. |
