Le volume des échanges commerciaux s’est fortement réduit et la relocalisation des entreprises financières basées à Londres ne s’effectue pas forcément au profit de Francfort. Quant à la coopération en matière de sécurité et de défense, Londres a proposé un nouveau format qui fait peser des risques sur la cohérence des politiques européennes communes en la matière. La signature d’un premier accord germano-britannique fin juin 2021 dissimule mal le fait que les deux pays sont en quête d’une relation post-Brexit viable. |
