Le consensus est mobilisé car il permet de prendre en compte le pluralisme. Mais la quête d’un consensus en bioéthique reste empreinte d’ambiguïté car le consensus peut désigner soit la procédure de décision soit le résultat du processus de décision. Dans le premier cas, le consensus est nécessairement associé à la discussion et à la délibération. Dans le deuxième cas, le consensus est souvent assimilé au compromis. |
