Confrontées aux importants problèmes sociaux de leur époque, elles ont créé un travail social ouvert et communautaire ; elles ont activement contribué aux projets de réforme sociale, à une redéfinition des enjeux sociaux et de leurs solutions ; elles ont été les principales protagonistes du mouvement des femmes dans leur pays, et ont eu un rôle international très important et reconnu. |
