Summary, etc. |
520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
Summary, etc. | A patient with no wordsHow can psychoanalysis whose principal tool is language take into account the question of those that do not speak The author proposes to extend the field of psychoanlysis to this group. These clinical questions have been neglected by psychoanalysists, wounded in their own narcissism by patients for whom the absence of language is an obstacle to indentification. This person, whose integrity is damaged, sends us an image in which we might fear to recognize ourselves. When communication is not possible by words, it takes places via the body and through empathy. The author discusses theories that postulate that non verbal mental phenomena exist and that thought originates in primitive sensoriality. |
