Raichvarg nous rappelle comment il y a quarante ans il a ouvert un domaine d’expérience inédit à l’époque : le « théâtre de science ». Non pas simplement transcrire la science pour la “jouer” sur une scène mais penser de façon nouvelle sa “vulgarisation”, problématiser en direct devant un public ses grandes questions et ses méthodes, avec les moyens du théâtre. Ce faisant et par étapes, lui, ses compagnons d’aventure et désormais nombre d’autres ont défini un domaine de réflexion, de recherche et d’action fécond où se croisent scientifiques, universitaires et gens de théâtre, où liberté, rigueur et souci de l’efficacité sont en constante interaction critique. |
