| Summary, etc. | Les espaces méditerranéens, charnières entre Amériques du Nord et du Sud, Europe et Afrique et Chine et Sud-Est asiatique, sont devenus depuis quelques décennies des carrefours de la mondialisation. Ces espaces partagés et finis font l’objet de toutes les convoitises. Propices aux déplacements des biens et des personnes, ils sont devenus progressivement des zones à forts enjeux stratégiques. Pour les pays les plus riches, le contrôle de ces zones contribue à leur puissance alors que pour les plus pauvres, ils constituent une frontière qu’il faut franchir pour accéder à un partage réel des richesses. Bien que les intérêts de chacun soient différents vis-à-vis de ces espaces communs, l’attention de tous s’y focalise. |
