Narratives of a memorial exhibition: an educational investigation

This article explores a didactic approach of museohistory aimed at developing students’critical skills during school visits. Students investigate the narratives of an exhibition of objects recovered from oradour-sur-Glane. While they do not fully grasp the narrative intended by the exhibition designers, they engage in a critical process, like expert visitors. this experiment highlights the importance of moving beyond passive reception of museographic content.
