From the idea that the revelation does not eliminate their contingency, he comes, among other radical conclusions, to the one that God might be deceptive. This thesis, which is a possible outcome of the sometimes so-called « Ockhamist » theory of future contingents, was taken up by Adam Wodeham and Robert Holcot.
