Preventing Early Behavioral Disorders: A Review

Conduct disorders, particularly those with physical aggression, are a major and a growing concern for public health. Aggressive conduct disorders seldom begin in adolescence, and have most of the time an onset in infancy; those troubles could be screened much earlier, and might even be prevented to some extent. This paper starts with the definitions of these disorders in childhood and adolescence, and is centered around available and assessed prevention programs, which are still largely unknown and not applied systematically in France.
