The professional integration of students trained in entrepreneurship

Entrepreneurship training for students is developing rapidly, supported by public authorities who see it as a tool for professional integration. The Céreq Generation 2010 survey allows us to say that students at the Bac + 5 level who have benefited from an entrepreneurship training system in 2010, including support for business start-ups, are more likely to set up their own business after three years and, otherwise, to more often have a concrete project in this direction. A positive effect of this training is also observed on employment stability and wages obtained, showing that these skills in entrepreneurship, innovation, and initiative are appreciated by employers. But these results are not exempt from selection effects in the sense that these courses attract students with a certain entrepreneurial potential. The generalization of this training to all students is therefore a challenge which will require new data for evaluation.
