The research project in design, and the question of the research question: An attempt at conceptual clarification

The principle of project-grounded research lies on the careful distinction one needs to make between the design project and the design research project, as well as on the idea—inspired by pragmatist philosophy—that in order to think right, one must think “in project.” A diagram is used to outline the argument.
