Breakdowns in Adolescence and the Analogy between the Scene of Reality and the Psychic Scene: Proposal of a New Model of Understanding
Type de matériel :
6
Adolescence is a period of breaking points in terms of the real and the psychic (puberty changes, access to introspection, autonomy, identity construction, subjectification, etc.) Faced with adolescents, the clinical psychologist can understand the breakdowns in the speech. They show themselves in the content, through the themes addressed, but also, unconsciously, in the form of comments. The analogy between these two scenes (reality and psychic) enables understanding adolescents’ actions and motivations, conscious or unconscious. The issue of breaking points and limits is omnipresent in adolescents, and can be found in clinical interviews, as well as in the projective materials (in this case, Rorschach).
