Using an original survey method and studying theories and interventions, the article shows that OH&S laws are in fact the specialists’ basis for inviting stakeholders to debate the work. Laying down OH&S law also allows the specialist to emerge from role confusion, affirms their legal identity, and bolsters legal arguments for improving workplace health.
