This article proposes an analysis of the changes initiated in teaching practices to encourage pupils to stay in school within a Lieu d’Education Associé (LéA) in agricultural education. From a theoretical point of view, we used the quaternary model of teaching practices, the different levels of collaboration and the concept of knowledge mediation. The data was collected as part of the collaborative research, and the analysis followed the same stages. The results show that involvement in collaborative research within a LéA is a form of contract for change, in this case based on knowledge.
