This clinical paper shows up the emergence of a demand for knowledge in a child alienated from the signifiers of the maternal Other. During the transference, a lever  promoting the emergence of a subjective saying, Quentin lets us know of a choice involving him in his relationship with knowledge, and through it, with the world. This is a choice with which the therapist can enter into partnership thanks to the call made by the child.
