Therapeutic mediation in The Sims video game

In this article the author uses a psychodynamic approach to look at some specificities of video game mediation in a therapeutic group with adolescents. After describing the framework/setting, we present clinical material on the basis of which we identify a polymorphous associativity based on plural modalities of symbolization, before going on to highlight some specific characteristics of video gaming.
