This is an article with two voices: that of a specialised educator in a child welfare service (ASE), and that of a trainer in the approach centred on the Empowerment of Persons and Communities (EPC) - this in order to shed light on the implementation of this approach in a constrained context. This is an experience of support with a judicial mandate in child protection in EPC mode. A mother (Mrs. A.), whose three children were placed under a legal measure, refused to send her daughter (B.) to an adapted vocational education section (SEGPA).
