The evaluation of the measures raising awareness about entrepreneurial spirit among high school students is part of the evaluation of the Marshall Plan 4.0, which the Walloon government of 2009–2014 assigned to IWEPS. A survey among students in schools offering awareness-raising actions made it possible to measure the net effect of these actions on students’ entrepreneurial intentions, skills, and attitudes. Our analyses show that awareness-raising actions had a positive effect on both the skills and the entrepreneurial attitudes of the students. This result calls for these actions to be continued. We also show a major and significant gender effect, in that women who want to become entrepreneurs face particular obstacles. Counteracting measures are therefore greatly needed.
