À l’occasion du 63e anniversaire de la Révolution du roi et du peuple, le souverain marocain a prononcé le 20 août une allocution articulée autour de quatre axes : fraternité intra maghrébine, ancrage sur le continent africain, accueil humaniste des migrants et affirmation d’un islam tolérant. S’adressant pour la première fois à la diaspora marocaine, Mohammed VI se pose en Commandeur des croyants, en défenseur d’une religion de paix, en chantre de la lutte contre le terrorisme.

On the occasion of the 63rd anniversary of the Revolution of the King and the People, the Moroccan monarch delivered an Aug. 20 speech around four themes : inner Maghreb brotherhood, anchoring on the African continent, humanist reception of migrants, and affirmation of a tolerant Islam. Also addressing the Moroccan diaspora for the first time, Mohammed VI acted as the defender of a religion of peace, and the champion of the fight against terrorism.
