L’article rapporte le cas d’une pré-adolescente âgée de 12 ans, présentant un symptôme anorexique ayant nécessité une hospitalisation pédiatrique. Une seule consultation thérapeutique psychanalytique, impliquant la jeune, sa mère et sa grand-mère, est détaillée. Cet entretien, familial et individuel, a notamment mis en évidence l’utilité d’un abord transgénérationnel. La problématique oedipienne, réactivée en période pré-pubertaire, a semblé prévalente par rapport aux fixations archaïques orales.La cédation rapide et durable du trouble, à la faveur de la mobilisation psychothérapique, dès la fin de la consultation, plaide aussi pour l’hypothèse d’un épisode anorexique hystérique plutôt qu’une anorexie mentale typique.

Pubertal oedipal issues seemed to predominate over archaic oral fixations.The quick symptom recovery, at the end of the consultation, thanks to an appropriate psychotherapeutic work, corroborates the hypothesis of an hysterical anorectic episode which differs from anorexia nervosa.
